"If all mankind minus one were of one opinion, mankind would be no more justified in silencing that one person than he, if he had the power, would be justified in silencing mankind." ~John Stuart Mill, On Liberty, 1859

So that's how they get in there!

Last Friday, Max & I decided to have some fun before all the schools let out & all the cool places are overrun with other kids. He really wanted to go to the zoo but alas, it was raining. Again. Instead we picked up Leslie and off we went to the art museum to see the knights (armor + a few paintings), plus a couple pieces that I like. When we got there, we discovered that they were having an event & some of the galleries were closed. They just happened to be the ones with the paintings of knights. So we spent the day looking at and discussing the religious art, a few modern pieces and of course the gallery of Arms & Armor. Max was very curious about the religious art and had lots of questions about who was in the paintings and what they were doing. Lots of questions about Jesus. We wandered around the museum until it was time for lunch then decided that it was a good day for pancakes. (We do like our breakfast!) Afterwards on our way back to Leslie's, we were chatting and Max was looking out the window when all of a sudden we hear:

Jesus!...(exasperated sigh)...Why do you keep putting boogies in my nose!?!
